AEA Friday Leadership Message – February 5, 2016

Executive Director’s Message Dear AEA Families: We have officially started the second semester of the school year, which means we stand at the halfway point of the 2015/2016 journey!  There is much to celebrate in terms of our dynamic community.  On the parent and staff collaboration front, the AEA School Site Council (SSC) is hard at work recommending Title I budgets for next school year.  Their next meeting will take place March 15 at 4:30 pm on the middle school campus (see the official AEA calendar at for updates).  All SSC meetings are open to the public.   On the student front, with progress reports coming out within a week there will be much to celebrate in terms of the hard work of staff, students and parents.  And of course because we recognize that learning is a lifelong endeavor of continuous improvement, there will inevitably be areas in need of future improvement. See the events listed below and make sure to note the upcoming AEA Board of Trustees meeting on our elementary campus on Tuesday, February 9 at 4:30 pm.  As always, this is an open meeting.
