Parent University Presents: Drug Prevention & Awareness

Parents and guardians with children in grades K-8th are invited to come to gain awareness about the current drug crisis in San Diego County and how it affects our families. As a 28-year veteran of the DEA and having spent most of his career in San Diego, Agent Rockwell “Rocky” Herron, will discuss the current situation with the importation and consumption of hard drugs (opioids, heroin, methamphetamine, counterfeit pills) and the impact that this consumption has on our individuals, families, communities and our country. Please be advised that the students 6th-8th grade will be receiving age-appropriate information on this topic in a student assembly. Therefore, there is no need for students to attend this Parent University.

Taller Para Padres Presenta: Prevención y Sensibilización a Las Drogas

Padres y tutores con niños en los grados K-8avo están invitados a conocer detalles acerca de la crisis de drogas en el condado de San Diego y cómo afecta a nuestras familias. Como veterano de la DEA por 28 años y habiendo pasado la mayor parte de su carrera en San Diego, el Agente Rockwell “Rocky” Herron, discutirá la situación actual con la importación y consumo de drogas (opioides, heroína, metanfetamina, píldoras falsificadas) y el impacto que este consumo tiene en nuestros individuos, familias, comunidades y nuestro país. Tenga en cuenta que los estudiantes de sexto a octavo grado recibirán información apropiada para su edad sobre este tema en una asamblea. Por lo tanto, no es necesario que los estudiantes asistan a este taller.
