Estimadas familias de AEA:
Como organización que valora nuestra humanidad compartida, el personal de AEA está apenado por la inmensa devastación causada esta semana por el Huracán Otis en Acapulco y el estado de Guerrero, México. Nuestros pensamientos y simpatías están con cada familia afectada por este desastre.
Muchos de nuestros estudiantes y personal tienen lazos cercanos con Guerrero, y reconocemos el impacto que esto tiene en nuestra comunidad escolar. Además de la destrucción física causada por el huracán, existe una gran incertidumbre y ansiedad ya que la tormenta interrumpió casi todos los sistemas de telecomunicaciones en la región y las noticias han sido esporádicas e incompletas como resultado. Si su familia ha sido afectada por el huracán y/o su hijo necesita apoyo adicional o consejería, por favor contacte al director de su respectivo centro o a la línea de ayuda de AEA: (858) 859-1550

Dear AEA Families:
As an organization that embraces our shared humanity, AEA staff are saddened by the immense devastation caused this week by Hurricane Otis in Acapulco and the state of Guerrero, Mexico. Our thoughts and sympathies are with every family affected by this disaster.
Many of our students and staff have close ties to Guerrero, and we recognize the impact this has on our school community. In addition to the physical destruction from the hurricane there remains a great deal of uncertainty and anxiety as the storm severed nearly all telecommunications systems in the region and news reports have been sporadic and incomplete as a result. If your family has been impacted by the hurricane and/or your child is in need of additional support or counseling please contact your respective site principal or the AEA helpline: (858) 859-1550
