Monthly Board Updates

The proposed revision adds a Table of Contents featuring position titles to improve clarity, usability, and compliance. Including this information ensures the Classified Salary Scale now functions as a Publicly Available Pay Schedule (PAPS) and meets the requirements of Senate Bill 1162 (SB 1162), effective January 1, 2023. This update also supports ongoing adherence to State and CalPERS guidelines and is designed to reduce confusion and delays in the pension reporting process and especially upon employee retirement.

The 2026–27 AEA Academic Calendar was presented to the Board of Trustees on October 14, 2025, for its first reading. This item represents the second reading of the proposed calendar. Revisions have been made since the initial presentation to align key dates with the San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD) to prevent potential ADA loss.
