AEA High School Project Approved by SDUSD Board of Trustees

Dear AEA Families:
Earlier today the San Diego Unified School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve the allocation of funds for the acquisition and renovation of an AEA high school facility. This historic vote of support for our future school and the recognition that our students deserve to learn in an inspiring state-of-the-art facility represent a historic moment in AEA’s nearly two decades of existence.
I would like to thank the SDUSD staff and trustees for their support and collaboration, and all AEA families and staff who have helped keep the AEA high school dream alive.
As soon as next steps related to the facilities project are released I will share them with our community. We will also be updating the high school portion of the AEA website with relevant information as it becomes available.

Estimadas familias de AEA:
Hoy, la Junta Directiva del Distrito Escolar Unificado de San Diego votó unánimemente para aprobar la asignación de fondos para la adquisición y renovación de las instalaciones de la preparatoria de AEA. Este voto histórico de apoyo a nuestra futura escuela y el reconocimiento de que nuestros estudiantes merecen aprender en unas instalaciones de última generación representan un momento histórico en las casi dos décadas de existencia de AEA.
Me gustaría dar las gracias al personal y a los administradores del SDUSD por su apoyo y colaboración, y a todas las familias y el personal de AEA que han ayudado a mantener vivo el sueño de la escuela preparatoria de AEA.
Tan pronto como se den a conocer los próximos pasos relacionados con el proyecto del edificio, los compartiré con nuestra comunidad. También actualizaremos la información en la parte de la preparatoria en el sitio web de AEA con información relevante a medida que esté disponible.
