Thanks to our PTO Friends of AEA for hosting the first virtual AEA Pastries with the Principals session yesterday evening. You can view the hour-long discussion here, including questions from viewers. We are planning additional sessions like this one; stay tuned for details as we coordinate calendars in the near future.

Today we held a brainstorming session with administrators and team leads from both schools. The goal was to brainstorm modifications to our Distance Learning Plan to adapt to several scenarios being discussed at local and State levels, including starting the 2020-21 school year early and also a range of instructional options from entirely online to a blend of online/face-to-face. Stay tuned for more information as this planning continues.

Our leadership team met this afternoon to consider a range of budget realities for the 2020-21 school year. While there are so many unknowns, we do know that we must plan conservatively, present various scenarios, and never lose sight of the AEA mission and vision. There will be more budget discussion at the May 12 Board of Trustees virtual meeting.
