1. Service Opportunity: Serving Meals at Father Joe’s Village (7th and 8th Grade) – 7 spots left!
When: Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Where: Father Joe’s Village, 1501 Imperial Ave, San Diego, CA 92101
Enrollment: Students need to pick up permission slip and volunteer packet from the front office, and sign up on ManageBac. Parents/guardians also need to help their students sign up on:
We are asking for all volunteers to:
1. Go to the website: https://neighbor.
2. Create an account.
3. When asked about a join code enter: AlbertEinstein
4. Please complete your application.
5. Then register for the event – “Serve a dinner meal at the Joan Kroc Center (JKC Kitchen) for 2/26/2020”.
Transportation: Students need to be dropped off in front of Father Joe’s at 4:00 pm and pick up is at 7:00 pm
Dress Code: MUST wear pants and closed toe shoes
Middle school students have an opportunity to help prepare and serve dinner to underprivileged San Diegans in the Family Kitchen of Father Joe’s Village. Students will work with AEA staff and the Father Joe’s kitchen crew. Space is extremely limited. The first eleven students to submit their permission slip, volunteer packet and sign-up on ManageBac will be accepted.

When: Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Where: Feeding San Diego, 9455 Waples Street, Suite 135 San Diego, CA 92121
Enrollment: Students need to pick up a permission slip from front office, and sign up on ManageBac
Transportation: Students need to be dropped off at the Feeding San Diego Warehouse (parents/families can also volunteer)
Dress Code: MUST wear closed toe shoes
Please join AEA for a “Food Sorting” volunteer shift with Feeding San Diego. AEA has reserved this time for up to 30 volunteers, and sign up is first come first serve. This is a great opportunity for the AEA community to come together and help those in need.

2. Oportunidad de servicio: Clasificación de alimentos en Feeding San Diego (Kinder-8vo grado) – ¡Quedan 20 lugares!
Cuándo: sábado 29 de febrero de 2020 de 9:00 a.m. a 11:00 a.m.
Dónde: Feeding San Diego, 9455 Waples Street, Suite 135 San Diego, CA 92121
