We handed out a record 300 lunches and 300 breakfasts today, which validates the shocking and dismal numbers released by the Labor Department today indicating a record 3 million Americans filing for unemployment benefits in the past week.
We will have hygiene bags ready to distribute early next week: thanks to our PTO Friends of AEA for their financial support of this initiative.
We just finished the first-ever AEA Board of Trustees fully online meeting, including the provision for public comment. I believe this will be the “new normal” as we move forward this semester.
