As we head into the second week of school closures, we are experiencing an increase in the number of meals we are distributing to the community on our middle school campus.  Today was the highest number, with just under 500 distributed between breakfast and lunch.  Thanks again to the staff who volunteered to assist today in the distribution.  The need is significant and I anticipate it will increase steadily.

Even though both AEA campuses are closed and the Governor’s “stay-at-home” order is being enforced, those families who for whatever reason have not picked up a computer can still do so.  Please leave a message on the Community Hotline and we will meet your needs while still abiding by social distancing guidelines.  Be sure to leave your name and phone number where our team can reach you.

Finally, the AEA Board of Trustees will be meeting this Thursday, March 26 at 2:00 pm PST.  This will be a virtual meeting in observance of social distancing, but the public will have an opportunity to view the meeting remotely and submit comments on non-agenda and agenda items.  Check the Board of Trustees link at aeacs.org for more information and to view the meeting agenda.
