Here are a few numbers to finish out the week: more than 42,000 meals have been distributed on the AEACMS campus to date, 750 delicious Luna Grill Mediterranean meals provided to frontline workers in the past three weeks, over 9,000 pounds of non-perishable food and hygiene items given out as part of the AEA Covid Relief Fund. This fund has received over $26,000 in generous donations in the past month. With one in four employed Americans now out of work, I anticipate these needs will continue into the foreseeable future.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all who have donated to the AEA Covid Relief Fund, to Luna Grill for exemplifying what it means to run a successful business with a heart, and to all those within our community who have volunteered time, expertise and/or emotional supports to those less fortunate.
On a personal note I’ve found some solace in nature. My bonsai tree efforts are slowly but surely yielding results.
