AEA Community,

Due to recent updates from the California Department of Public Health we are now adhering to the following procedures:

• Students, teachers and staff who present with a fever and/or respiratory infection symptoms (cold symptoms) will be sent home immediately.

If a student, teacher or staff member has been sent home with either of the above listed symptoms it is important that they remain at home until:

• Fever has been gone for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medicines
• They are free from respiratory infection symptoms (cold symptoms)

The health and safety of the AEA community remains our top priority. Please check our website www.aeacs.org regularly for updates, and make sure we have your updated cell phone number on file in case we activate our emergency messaging systems. You can verify this by contacting the front office at either AEA site.

Comunidad de AEA,

Debido a la información más reciente recibida por el Departamento de Salud Pública de California, nos apegamos a los siguientes procedimientos:

• Los estudiantes, profesores y personal que presenten fiebre y/o síntomas de infección respiratoria (síntomas de resfriado) serán enviados a casa inmediatamente.

Si un estudiante, maestro o miembro del personal ha sido enviado a casa con cualquiera de los síntomas arriba mencionados es importante que permanezca en casa hasta que:

• La fiebre haya desaparecido por lo menos durante 24 horas sin el uso de medicamentos antifebriles
• No presenten síntomas de infección respiratoria (síntomas de resfrío)

La salud y la seguridad de la comunidad AEA sigue siendo nuestra principal prioridad.  Vaya a nuestro sitio web www.aeacs.org regularmente para ver la información actualizada,y asegúrese de que tengamos su número de teléfono celular actualizado en el archivo de la escuela en caso de que activemos algún mensaje de emergencia. Puede verificar suinformación poniendose en  contacto con la recepción de cualquiera de las escuelas de AEA.
