    For the 2013-2014 school year, our Elementary enrollment period starts December 1, 2012 and ends  February 28, 2013. During this period, we will collect all enrollment forms and enter your child's data into our database. If you would like confirmation of our receipt of your application, please call the office after December 1, 2012. For Middle school enrollment please refer to Middle School Applications.

    Enrollment forms are available beginning December 1, 2012 at this site or from our office. You may print the Elementary School enrollment form. Once completed, you may elect to fax the application to our office at (619)795-1180, bring it by the office during office hours (8 am - 4 pm M-F) or mail to our office at 3035 Ash Street, San Diego, CA 92102 Attn: Enrollment.

    
After the enrollment period closes, in March we will have a lottery supervised by an outside agency to determine placement in classes and ranking on our waiting list.


    Priority will be given in the following order: 1. Children of staff 2. K-5 immersion program only: priority will be given to fluent German speakers up to 25 % of open slots. 3. Siblings of Albert Einstein students 4. Applicants residing within San Diego Unified School District boundaries 5. Applicants residing outside of the San Diego Unified School District boundaries.

    If a child has been accepted for attendance at Albert-Einstein-Academies through the lottery system, families will be notified. Families may want to read Is Einstein Middle School Right for Your Child or Is Einstein Right for your Child (Elem). If the school, child and parents decide to continue with the enrollment process, the child will be formally registered as attending Albert Einstein Academies after submission of all necessary registration papers including up-to-date immunizations and a kindergarten health check-up (kindergarten and first grade).

    Additional enrollment periods for the 2013/2014 school year include: December 1, 2012-January 31, 2013, February 1-March 14, 2013, March 15-April 30, 2013.

    In Grades K -2, we will enroll 20 students per class, in grades 3 to 5, we may enroll up to 25 students per class and in grades 6-8 we may enroll up to 110 per grade level. We continue to enroll children throughout the school year if space becomes available.

Please see Article 8 in our school charter for additional details. As with all new enrollees, if you have accepted a position for a sibling of a current student, the sibling must complete an enrollment packet prior to being enrolled at AEA.
